Woke up early this morning at 6am and David and I made our way to East Croydon Station. Took the X26 bus to Heathrow and then the 111 to Park Inn. The transport system in the UK makes travelling a pleasure. Buses and trains are regular and staff are knowledgable and helpful.
I then found out that brekkie was included so I had some beans on toast and a coffee. I am now waiting for Alec, the tour manager, to finish off a few mails before we collect the car, pick up the band in Chiswick and drums in Croydon (!) and then drive to Antwerp. It's about and 8 hour drive with a trip in the chunnel (or Eurotunnel as they call it).
